AoA and sorry for being out of the picture for a long time! My PC is broken and im using my broz laptop…the internet conenction is also so slow… that i cant even read my mails.. let alone log into wordpress..Alhamdulilah its working a bit okay now… il post the article about “Lying” as soon as my PC is back … in the meanwhile just thought id share the importance of the first 10 days of Zil-Hajj as eid ul adha is just aroung the corner! The Prophet (peace be upon him) says,
“There are no days in which good deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days.”
The Prophet was asked, “Not even jihad for the cause of Allah?”
He replied: “Not even jihad for the
cause of Allah, except for a man who goes out (for jihad) with his money and
his own self then does not return with any of that.” [Bukhari]
Arafah, which is the ninth day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, is the greatest day of the entire year. Fasting that day (for those not performing Hajj) is strongly recommended, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us that:
“Fasting the day of Arafah causes forgiveness of the sins of the previous year and coming year” [Muslim].
thanks…for the great info…

The Moon sighting conflict worries me a lot. Has it been delberately imposed upon us to create a rift betweem Muslim masses? Saudis announce the moon sighting even before the new moon starts. And I have been checking for many years on many astronomy softwares that they (Saudis) claim to see moon even when it sets before the Sun sets itself from all Saudi locations, or just anywhere in the world. We are not performing Hajj at the right day for several years. What do you say?
