In response to the Facebook Event on Prophet Muhammad (s)

The Facebook event of a competition of drawing caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (s) is yet another proof of the West’s double standards of ‘Freedom of Expression’

While it is considered ‘Freedom of expression’ to make fun of and ridicule the Prophet of Islam by drawing him and depicting him in ways which are not only blasphemous but also hurt the sentiments of Muslims all over the world, it is completely legitimate for the west to charge people with ‘Anti-Semitism’ and their behaviour which tops their double standards is the Hijab Ban.

So where is freedom of expression of a Muslim Woman to wear what she wants to wear!!?? Whether it be a hijab or a veil or an abaya??!! How come she doesn’t have freedom of expression.

What If I were to start a competition on Facebook on Anti Semitism? What will be reaction? But I am not going to do such a thing, because this is not the Islamic way to respond and neither is a boycott of facebook a solution.

The solution is to wage a Jihad of the digital pen and media by posting as much authentic information about Prophet Muhammad (s) as possible on facebook and elsewhere on the web. This way we can present the true picture and character of Muhammad (s) and give the world the reason to respect and honor this noble man.

Unfortunatley for me, Pakistani Government in a drastic measure as a protest has banned Facebook due to this competition. So it is upto the Muslims in other countries to fight this battle on the media.

I will be posting InshaAllah videos and links to the authentic information about our beloved Prophet Muhammad May peace be upon Him.

Prophet Muhammad (s) has been mentioned in all religious scriptures and is a man who must be honored and respected by all faiths be they Christians, Jews or Hindus. Watch Prophet Muhammad (s) in Word Religious Scriptures by Dr.Zakir Naik.
