Muhammad was the name of the Last Prophet of Islam. It is an Arabic word which comes from the root word H-M-D which means “Praise” Thus the word Muhammad means ” The Most praised” and Prophet Muhammad (saw) in reality is the most praised and the most respected personality of all times.
Every Muslim on hearing the name of Prophet Muhammad (saw), due to their deep love and respect praises him by saying ” Sallalahu Alaihe Wasallam” which mean “May peace be upon him”.
